3D Digital models
SERVICE DESCRIPTION:
Currently we are using two methods for obtaining precise 3D digital models of artworks, monuments and any other surface: PHOTOGRAMMETRY and 3D LASER SCANNING. Our digital models can display details of the real surfaces up to 0.02 mm. These methods are non contact and cannot harm or change in any way the structure or the aspect of the investigated surface.

Non-invasive elemental characterization
SERVICE DESCRIPTION:
Elemental analysis via X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometry (XRF). Overview: XRF is a powerful, non-invasive elemental analysis technique, used for qualitative identification and/or quantitative determination of elemental composition of materials. Highly suitable for in-situ analysis, with no sampling required, XRF is widely used within the cultural heritage field, with applications for the analysis of various art and historical objects –paintings, documents and manuscripts, historical photographs, statuary, ceramics, mosaics, textiles, wood and metal artifacts, archaeological objects, etc. Limitations: - elemental detection ranges from Na to U; - organic materials, such as C, H, N, O cannot be detected via XRF; - matrix interference can prevent or limit detection of certain elements; - standards for quantitative analysis do not always match unknown matrix General Advantages / Complementary or Related Techniques - Sensitive, non-destructive elemental identification - High portability and in-situ operability - Complementary information on molecular level if correlated with other spectroscopic techniques (FTIR, LIF)

Digital X-Ray Mobile Equipment
CATALOG NAME:
ISOVOLT Mobile 160
DESCRIPTION:
ISOVOLT Mobile 160 was designed for X-Ray non destructive inspections for laboratory and field usage, for difficult areas. The X-Ray generator and tube operate with a maximum energy of 160 KeV with maximum parameters of 160KV and 10 mA. The emitted energy, power intensity and irradiation time can all be variated depending on the subject and the purpose of investigation. The digital films that records the irradiation result are scanned in order to obtain in real time a high resolution digital image of the radiograph. These films are reusable. The radiograph images are processed in order to emphasize certain details.

Hyperspectral Camera
CATALOG NAME:
HYSpex SWIR 384
DESCRIPTION:
Hyperspectral imaging or imaging spectroscopy is a non-invasive technique which combines digital imaging and spectroscopy. For each pixel in an image, a Hyperspectral camera acquires the light intensity (radiance) for a large number of contiguous spectral bands. Every pixel in the image thus contains a continuous spectrum (in radiance) and can be used in order to characterize the objects in the scene with great precision and detail. In the cultural heritage conservation field this advanced technique is used for: documentation and visualization of under drawings and pentimenti in paintings, monitoring and evaluation of conservation treatments and distribution mapping of materials with distinct spectral signatures.

Multispectral Camera
CATALOG NAME:
ARTIST
DESCRIPTION:
Multispectral imaging analysis is a non-invasive and non-contact technique that records specific information at different frequencies of the electromagnetic spectrum. In the cultural heritage field this technique is used for preliminary documentation, investigation and diagnosis. Characteristics of each spectral region define a target area from were data will be extracted. If the UV radiation is rapidly absorbed or reflected by the superficial layers (top of the surface), the IR radiation, for most of the pigments known, penetrates opaque layers, giving an in depth examination.
