The Bruker Scion Gas Chromatograph has a split/splitless injector and with a Flame Ionization Detector, It use capillary columns and is coupled with an interface to the Bruker Vertex 70 FT IR spectrophotometer. The software of the GC ensure equipment control and data acquisition. The VERTEX 70 spectrometer offer unmatched performance and versatility for demanding analytical and research applications. TG gives characteristic information about the composition of the measured sample, in particular the amounts of the various components and their thermal behavior. In addition, further measurements are possible such as kinetic analysis of thermal decomposition. The identification of gases released directly from the sample or during thermal treatment cannot be performed just by thermal analysis, but coupling a spectroscopic method such as Fourier-Transform-Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy is an excellent solution. The equipment is used to determine the load-bearing capacity of lightweight claddings in quasi-static, real-scale loading mode, capable of simulating the wind section (under pressure / uniform wind suction) on sandwich panels, liner trays, roof panels in collaboration with purlins, or other closing elements with a thickness between 25-200 mm and variable spans ranging from 2500 mm to 6000 mm. This experimental equipment eliminates the classic testing, with loads directly applied to the tested elements, which lead to local deformations. In this sense, the vacuum chamber was made, in the form of a rectangular box, so that the uniformly distributed load, which simulates the wind suction/preassure, can act on the lower part of the elements. The test panels can be tested either simply supported or continuous on two openings. The structure of the vacuum enclosure is made of aluminum, and the side walls are tightly closed and made of Alucobond panels. The box is anchored to the floor, being sealed with gasket. Contains side frame for holding plastic foil used for sealing. The stand contains upper supports for mounting motion sensors. For vacuum, a manually controlled ventilation system will be used to produce suction in the chamber. A number of 3-5 LVDT type linear displacement transducers will be used to measure the deformations of the tested panels. A pressure transducer will be used to measure the suction pressure in the chamber. The linear and pressure transducers will connect to an acquisition station for continuous data acquisition.

Represent a technique used to measure local electrochemical behaviour at interface liquid/solid by using ultramicroelectrodes (UME). This technique is based on the displacement of UME in the near vicinity of the studied interface. By approaching the UME tip at a distance equal with few tip dimension, an interaction between UME diffusion layer and the substrate occurs. Such interaction leads to some current variation. The obtained response being correlated with the kinetic of the reaction, or with the in-situ surface imagining. For this technique, the mass transfer rate is a function of the UME tip–surface distance. Curves recorded for different distances are used to determine the kinetic parameters of the studied reaction. For example, SECM is suitable to investigate corrosion processes due to the possibility to use UME to initiate the reaction and to monitor system response.
